Sequalitchew Lake is 60 acres with a maximum depth of 10 feet. I've enjoyed fishing this lake on many occasions. The large mouth bass in this lake are some of the largest I have seen in this region. The big ones spoke easy and are very challenging to catch, but I have used a number of different lures and techniques to catch some whoppers in this no-motor lake. Lures I would recommend are: Glass Shad Raps, Rattle traps, Frogs, Tiny torpedo, and brush hogs and rubber worms. There is a boat launch area on the water treatment side of the lake that many dont know about. Once you get on the water from this point, head directly out and traverse the center toward the treatment plant. You will see numerous vegetation areas and these are what you should target. The bass are in there laying low and ready to ambush whatever you throw their way. Good Luck on catching the monster and remember to catch and release so that others can enjoy the thrill of getting a big large mouth bass.
